Meaning of Our Logo
The Koru – a form well recognised within New Zealand and with strong Maori associations – is a symbol of growth and development.
The abstract elements of the two koru, one above the other, are symbolic both of New Zealand’s North and South Islands, and of groups working together to achieve growth and peace.
The green is a colour associated with New Zealand’s landscapes – clean and fresh.
We used a modern typeface to represent both today’s pan-agency peacekeeping teams and the thinking and ideas the conference delegates will bring to the 24th IAPTC Annual Conference.
